Using AMSOIL Pi With Smaller Gas Tanks
A reader asks: I’ve got a question about AMSOIL P.i. Gasoline Additive. My car is a Honda Fit and the fuel tank only holds 10.6 gallons (40 L). The P.i. label directions suggests that the bottle can treat up to 30 gallons (113 L). Should I only pour in 1/3 of the bottle or the whole thing? Will adding too much of this gasoline additive hurt my engine?
Our Answer: For smaller fuel tanks of around 10 gallons (40 litres), it is safe to simply use the entire bottle of AMSOIL P.i. during a fill-up. There will be no harm to the fuel system or engine when “over-treating” down to ten gallons.
AMSOIL P.i. is for gasoline-powered automotive fuel systems. It is not suitable for small engines or powersport applications.

What Does AMSOIL P.i. Do?
AMSOIL P.i. Performance Improver is a very potent gasoline additive. Its main function is to thoroughly clean injection systems, valves and combustion chambers.
