If you are unsure of your ability to deal on a vehicle from a business perspective, bring someone who is a competent and experienced car buyer. This also applies to the mechanical inspection of used vehicles. If you can’t bring a mechanically-inclined helper, take the vehicle to an independent shop for a quick look-over.
