AMSOIL Price Discounts in Canada Continue for January

As with the past few months, AMSOIL will continue to offer instant discounts to Canadian customers to compensate us for the strength in the Canadian dollar versus the US dollar. They have opted to peg this at 6% for January. Here is the release from the company…

In an effort to continue to provide a real time solution to the ongoing fluctuations in the currency exchange between the U.S. and Canadian dollars, AMSOIL is once again offering a discount for all Canadian orders during the month of January, 2008. The discount rate for January has been set at 6%. This means that all Canadian orders placed January 1st through January 31st, 2008 will automatically receive the 6% discount. As was the case in November and December, this discount will appear on each and every invoice as a line item titled “Purchase and Freight Discount”. AMSOIL will continue to monitor the situation on a month-to-month basis.

Reminder: This monthly purchase discount is a temporary fix. AMSOIL will provide a long term pricing solution when the U.S. and Canadian financial markets stabilize.
