AMSOIL Introduces DOT 3 & DOT 4 Brake Fluid

AMSOIL has added yet another product to what is already the most prolific line in the industry. New Series 500 High-Performance DOT 3 Brake Fluid and Series 600 DOT 4 Racing Brake Fluid are now available. As with all AMSOIL products, these brake fluids are formulated for serious performance. They contain the best zinc-based anti-corrosion additives and pH stabilizers. They are designed for high-temperature stability and yet flow easily at low temperatures. Many owner’s manuals recommend changing brake fluid every 24 months to remove moisture. Approximately half of all cars and light trucks in the U.S. over 10 years old have never had the brake fluid changed. The difference between the two is that DOT 4 fluid also contains borate esters which gives it a higher boiling point. These are serious fluids for serious stopping power.
