AMSOIL Terminates Ea Air Filter Series

The “EAAU” Universal Air induction Filters and “EAAR” Racing Air Filters (for carburetor-equipped vehicles) are unaffected by this development and still in production.

There are a few reasons for this change. The first being the fact that car makers are increasingly equipping each model with unique filter dimensions rather than using the same filter part number across several models. Couple this complication with declining Ea Filter sales and AMSOIL simply opted to pull the pin on the series.

Sadly the Ea synthetic air filter concept is/was a good one. The dry media can be cleaned and reused for long life. It was also one of the more effective filters in the industry at keeping contaminants out of the engine.

Oildepot still offers WIX and Mann air filters to cover most applications. They offer original equipment quality and reliable engine protection.
