See Johnny Greaves’ World Record Truck Jump Video
Monster Energy/Toyota Motorsports/Amsoil sponsored off-road truck racer Johnny Greaves recently set a new 2WD distance truck jumping record which will be recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records. The new record of 301 feet beats the old mark of 193 feet which was set last year. With a gap of 200 feet between the takeoff and landing peaks, it was calculated that Greaves had to hit the jump at a minimum of 100 miles per hour. Greaves nailed the ramp with his 800-horsepower, TORC off-road PRO 2WD Toyota at 105 miles per hour, destroying the previous record by a considerable margin. The record setting jump was performed at the ranch of Monster Energy/Toyota Motorsports off-road racing teammate Jeremy McGrath, who is a living legend in his former sport of motocross and supercross.
