Injen and AMSOIL Create New Diesel Intake Systems

A joint effort between AMSOIL Inc. and Injen Technology Co. has spawned a brand new series of air intake systems for diesel pickups. Injen/AMSOIL Diesel Air Intake Systems are an easy bolt-on item for the following models:

2005-2007 Chevy/GMC 6.6L Duramax
2003-2007 Dodge Ram 2500, 3500, 5.9L Cummins
2003-2007 Ford PowerStroke F250, F350, F450

Dyno test results claim torque increases of between 40-44 ft. lbs. and horsepower gains of 20-24.9 horsepower (depending on the model). Not only are these units functional and beautiful, they are made with the highest quality materials available. The intake plenum is constructed of aerospace alloy T6 aluminum, the clamps are stainless steel and the ports and brackets are tig-welded. The filter housing is manufactured using a composite mix of glass-filled nylon and polypropylene designed for heat resistance and noticeably quiet operation. Best of all, the air filter itself is constructed with AMSOIL’s legendary Ea nanofiber media. This media captures more dirt, holds more dirt and allows better air flow than conventional air filters. It can remove five times more dust than traditional cellulose filter media alone and 50 times more dust than wet gauze filter media. Testing shows that Ea Air Filters hold 15 times more contaminants than a wet gauze type filters. So these new systems offer not only performance and fuel economy gains, but they do so without sacrificing fine filtration. Another bonus offered by the Ea media is that it can be cleaned and re-used for up to 160 000 KM. The dry filter media means no washing, drying and re-oiling. Simply pull the filter and (carefully!) vacuum the dirty side or lightly blow clean with 15-20 psi of compressed air.
