Winter Tires – Use Them!

For those of you that haven’t discovered the stunning performance and safety benefits of winter tires, please consider installing a set on your car this winter. They are not a gimmick. Winter tires employ rubber compounds and tread designs that are a no-compromise solution to winter traction. We have used them for the last 5 winters and simply would not be without them. Current all-season radials are realistically a 30% winter tire (at best). The traction, handling and braking improvements will definitely make you a believer as well. We won’t recommend a brand, but it has been our experience that when it comes to tires (like oil), you may not enjoy great performance or longevity out of the cheapest brands. We do not sell tires, so please consider this an unbiased recommendation. Just do it. You won’t be sorry and it may save your life.
