Snowmobilers: AMSOIL Interceptor or Dominator 2-Stroke Oil?

As snowmobile season gets into full swing, riders new to the AMSOIL product line may have questions as to which synthetic 2-stroke oil to use. The default choice for recreational/high-performance 2-stroke sleds equipped with variable exhaust power valves is Interceptor Synthetic 2-Cycle Oil.

Astute riders will also notice that AMSOIL offers the similarly priced DOMINATOR Synthetic 2-Cycle Racing Oil. With Dominator being a “racing” oil designed to deliver the ultimate in wear control, some may wonder why this wouldn’t be a better candidate for all-round snowmobile use.
