The use of any aftermarket oil additives is definitely NOT recommended.

Service Life Of AMSOIL 5W-40 Metric Synthetic Motorcycle Oil

AMSOIL Metric Motorcycle Oils are capable of a service life of up to twice the oil change interval suggested by your owner’s manual or one full year (whichever comes first). This applies to engines and transmissions when using AMSOIL Motorcycle Oil Filters. When using other engine oil filter brands, change the oil filter at the manufacturer’s recommended service interval. AMSOIL Motorcycle Oil Filters are designed to stay in service for the duration of the maximum drain interval of this product.

Off-road service: Change AMSOIL 5W-40 Metric Synthetic Motorcycle Oil at the motorcycle manufacturers’ suggested service interval.
Racing service or modified engines: Extended service intervals are not recommended.
