AMSOIL Severe Gear Synthetic SAE 250 Gear Lube is formulated with a heavyweight, shear stable synthetic base oil that is fortified with extreme pressure additives. This potent formula provides wear protection under severe loads and mega-horsepower. Severe Gear SAE 250 uses its muscular film strength to provide an impenetrable fortress against metal-to-to-metal damage.

Limited Slip Differentials and Severe Gear SAE 250

When using this product in limited slip differentials, add AMSOIL Slip-Lock Limited Slip Additive or equivalent.

Mixing AMSOIL Severe Gear SAE 250 with Other Brands

AMSOIL Severe Gear SAE 250 Synthetic Oil is compatible with all other brands of conventional, semi-synthetic and synthetic gear oils. While you can safely mix AMSOIL Severe Gear with other brands, this will reduce the drain interval and performance capabilities of AMSOIL gear oil.

The use of any aftermarket oil additives (other than limited-slip friction modifiers) is definitely NOT recommended.

Service Life of AMSOIL Severe Gear Synthetic SAE 250 Gear Lube

Change Severe Gear SAE 250 at regular service intervals or as prescribed by the differential builder. Change more often when differential is immersed in water for extended periods.
