Varnish and Sludge Resistance
Unlike regular ATF’s, AMSOIL Torque-Drive Synthetic ATF is impervious to oxidation caused by heavy loads and hot operating conditions. Varnish and sludge formation is curtailed, so oil ports, valve bodies and clutches are clean and free of oxidized deposits. Automatic transmissions are able to function like new with cooler operation and extended service life.
Synthetic Wear Control
Torque-Drive’s powerful synthetic formula approaches wear control from many fronts. This synthetic ATF reduces friction which lowers operating temperatures. The high film strength and extreme pressure characteristics resist shearing and metal-to-metal contact. The result is maximum transmission life and reduced equipment costs.
Holds Frictional Properties
Torque-Drive Synthetic ATF is designed to maintain original shifting performance over its service life. Shift points and clutch performance are steady from the time it is installed to the end of it’s service life.
Cold Weather, Hot Weather? No Problem!
With a cold pour point of -69°F, winter performance will be a non-issue on cold mornings when AMSOIL Torque-Drive is on the job. Hot days are are also not an issue. Torque-Drive maintains its viscosity in the face of extreme heat and heavy loads, so wear or accelerated deposit formation is eliminated.
Mixing AMSOIL Torque-Drive ATF with Other Brands
AMSOIL Torque-Drive Synthetic ATF is compatible with other brands of conventional, semi-synthetic and synthetic automatic transmission fluid. While you can safely mix AMSOIL Synthetic Oil with other brands, this will reduce the drain interval and performance capabilities of AMSOIL synthetic ATF.
The use of any aftermarket oil additives with AMSOIL Torque-Drive Synthetic ATF is definitely NOT recommended.
Service Life of AMSOIL Torque-Drive ATF
Follow manufacturers’ suggested oil change interval. When extending service intervals beyond OEM-suggested service intervals, employ oil analysis.
