Suitable Applications For AMSOIL SG Extreme Pressure Gear Oils
AMSOIL SG Extreme Pressure Synthetic Gear Oil Series is applicable for industrial gear purposes where EP gear oil is required. Not suitable for applications with operating temperatures that are consistently above 171°C (250°F). Not recommended for automotive differentials or similar. Not for use in applications with yellow metal components that have operating temperatures above 100°C (212°F).

Capable Of Operating In Extreme Winter Cold
This full-synthetic product has cold pour points ranging from -35°C (ISO 460) to -45°C (ISO 150). SG Series provides consistent operation in conditions where regular gear lubes solidify and render equipment inoperable.
Compatibility Of AMSOIL SG Extreme Pressure Synthetic Gear Oil Series With Other Oils
AMSOIL SG Industrial Synthetic Gear Oils are not compatible with polyglycol (PAG) gear oils. A thorough flush is needed before installing SG series products into equipment using PAG gear lubes.
This product is compatible with other synthetic, semi-synthetic and conventional oils and all seal types. For best results, flush system of previous oil before putting this product into service.
Oil Change Interval For AMSOIL SG Extreme Pressure Synthetic Gear Oil Series
SG Series products are capable of long service intervals. As operating conditions vary, periodic oil analysis is suggested. We can provide oil analysis kits and lab services.
