Stays Put For Maximum Protection And Long Stretches Between Greasing
Aside from its versatility, the biggest positive feature of AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Truck, Chassis and Equipment Grease is its ability to take a pounding and remain in place. This extreme pressure (EP) synthetic grease withstands heavy loads and impacts so components are always well-protected. The periods between servicing can be stretched and less grease is needed when servicing does take place. So not only is this grease ideal for routine use, it can be especially beneficial in situations where equipment cannot be serviced regularly.
Resistant To Water, Snow, Mud And Salt Spray
Looking for grease that prevents water and rust damage? AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Truck, Chassis and Equipment Grease is designed to repel moisture and steadfastly stay in place. These factors prevent contamination by moisture, snow/ice, mud and salt spray so rust and corrosion cannot begin to get a foothold.
Lowers Maintenance Costs
AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Truck, Chassis and Equipment Grease lowers maintenance costs from two angles. First, the extreme pressure wear control that has been demonstrated in field and lab testing prolongs equipment life. Secondly, the clingy staying power of this grease allows for longer intervals between applications and less grease needed when servicing occurs.
Can AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Truck, Chassis And Equipment Grease Be Mixed With Other Grease?
AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Truck, Chassis and Equipment Grease is compatible with a wide variety of grease brands and types. For best results, flush out old grease when switching over to this product.
Should I Use NLGI #1 Or NLGI #2?
AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Truck, Chassis and Equipment Grease is available in two versions: NLGI #1 or NLGI #2. We recommend the NLGI #1 grade for year-round use in the northern half of the USA and Canada. Although NLGI #1 grease is traditionally used in cold temperatures only, the tacky nature of this grease makes the NLGI # 1 version suitable in summer also. The NLGI #2 version is perfectly fine for summer use in Northern regions, but we find that the viscous nature of the #2 grease can make for difficult pumping in some electric and battery-powered grease guns.
