With a dropping point of 282°C (540°F), this product delivers steady wear protection in hot-running applications.

The unique synthetic make-up and lithium complex thickener additive package makes AMSOIL Synthetic Multi-Purpose Grease especially qualified to withstand heavy loads. It resists shearing or being forced out of components. GLC grease delivers outstanding adherence to parts under load while maintaining its viscosity.

Performs in Cold Temperatures

One of the most beneficial aspects of synthetic lubricants is their ability to function effectively at both ends of the temperature spectrum. Despite being an NLGI #2 grease, this synthetic grease pumps easily and continues to offer smooth performance under winter conditions.

Effective Water Resistance

Using the ASTM D-1264 testing protocol for water washout resistance, AMSOIL Synthetic Multi-Purpose Grease showed modest losses of just 1.7%. This impressive result is superior to some specialized greases that market their product as “water resistant”. AMSOIL GLC grease will stay in place when exposed to water and anti-corrosion additives protect metal from damage.
