With a cold-pour-point of -51C (-60F), AMSOIL Formula 4-Stroke 0W-40 cranks easily in any weather and brings instant oil flow for fast start-up protection.

Ideal Oil For Turbocharged Snowmobiles

AMSOIL Formula 4-Stroke 0W-40 withstands extreme heat and resists deposit formation. This makes it ideal for use in turbocharged engines found on many of today’s 4-stroke snowmobiles.

A Worthy Transmission Performer

Many ATV’s have manual transmissions that require a 4-stroke oil that can withstand the shearing of gears and also be suitable for wet-clutches. AMSOIL AFF 0W-40 is designed withstand transmission service as well as improve shifting by lowering friction. It does not contain friction modifiers, so clutch plate glazing is not a risk.

Shear Stable

AMSOIL Formula 4-Stroke 0W-40 Synthetic Motor Oil offers much stronger resistance to shearing versus Polaris Synthetic PS-4 Plus and Arctic Cat Synthetic ACX. Both are 50-weight oils when new, but ASTM-7109 Shear Stability Testing shows that they lose over 30% of their viscosity very quickly. AMSOIL AFF is a better alternative as it resists shearing by losing just 5%, offering superior long-term wear control.

Mixing AMSOIL 4-Stroke Synthetic Oil With Other Brands

AMSOIL Formula 4-Stroke 0W-40 Synthetic Motor Oil is compatible with all other brands of conventional, semi-synthetic and synthetic 4-stroke engine oils. While you can safely mix AMSOIL Synthetic Oil with other brands, this will reduce the drain interval and performance capabilities of AMSOIL oil.

The use of any aftermarket oil additives is definitely NOT recommended.
