What is “Full-SAPS”?

“SAPS” refers to the engine oil’s Sulfated Ash, Phosphorus and Sulfur content. SAPS are important anti-wear additives.

Full-SAPS Wear Fighting Formula

The European motor oil specifications listed above require high SAPS levels to combat wear, extreme heat and to protect turbochargers. In the case of the Porsche A40 specification, the extra wear additives are needed for flat tappet cams. AMSOIL European Formula FS 0W-40 Synthetic Motor Oil is designed to provide engine protection over the long service intervals that are typical of many European automobiles.

This 100% synthetic 0W-40 engine oil flows down to -51°C, so engine components receive instant protection during winter starts. But this oil isn’t just for winter. The powerful synthetic composition of this oil provides steady viscosity protection in extreme summer heat and in engines with hot running turbochargers.

Formulated To Reduce Deposits

As European auto brands tend to recommend longer oil change intervals than domestic vehicles, resistance to oil breakdown and the resultant varnish and deposits is vital. AMSOIL European Formula FS 0W-40 Synthetic Motor Oil resists extreme heat and stays in grade over long service intervals for clean engine internals and optimum efficiency.

Turbo Compatible

AMSOIL European Formula FS 0W-40 Synthetic Motor Oil is designed for turbocharger service. Turbochargers require an oil that withstands intense heat and resistance to oil “coking” (hard deposits caused by extreme heat).

Service Life

Recommended for oil change intervals as suggested by the vehicle owner’s manual or as indicated by oil life monitoring systems. Change oil filter at every oil change.

Mixing AMSOIL with Other Brands

AMSOIL European Formula FS 0W-40 Synthetic Motor Oil is compatible with all other brands of conventional and synthetic motor oils. While you can safely mix AMSOIL Synthetic Oil with other brands, this will reduce the drain interval and performance capabilities of AMSOIL motor oil.

The use of any aftermarket oil additives is definitely not recommended.
