The 3.0L Duramax diesel engine requires the thin 0W-20 grade. Therefore, it is vital to use the best engine oil available.  AMSOIL 0W-20 100% Synthetic Diesel Oil provides outstanding film strength and viscosity protection. This robust oil protects bores, pistons, camshafts and overall valvetrain.

Service Life Of AMSOIL 0W-20 Synthetic Diesel Oil

Change this product at the interval prescribed by the vehicle owner’s manual or as indicated by oil life monitoring systems. Service intervals can be extended when employing oil analysis. Install a new oil filter at every oil change.

Mixing AMSOIL Synthetic Diesel Engine Oil With Other Brands

This product is compatible with all other brands of conventional, semi-synthetic and synthetic diesel engine oils. However, while you can safely mix AMSOIL Synthetic Diesel Oil with other brands, this will reduce the overall drain interval and performance capabilities.

The use of any aftermarket engine oil additives is definitely not recommended.
