Suitable Applications For Fleece Freedom Series Break-In Oil (SAE 30)
This product is formulated to break-in new or rebuilt high-performance or competition engines.
We do not suggest using this product in stock engines found in new automotive or light-truck applications.
Formulated To Safely Break-In Engines
Freedom Series Break-In Oil is formulated to aid in the seating process of new piston rings and cylinder walls. This break-in oil does not contain friction modifiers. When following break-in procedures as prescribed by the engine builder, this product facilitates break-in for optimum compression and horsepower going forward.
Prevents Valvetrain And Bearing Wear
While moderate “wear-in” is desired in the break-in process, protection for new cams, lifters and bearings is important. Fleece Freedom Series Break-In Oil is loaded with zinc and phosphorus for protection of these components during the break-in period.
How To Use Fleece Freedom Series Break-in Oil
Follow the break-in procedure as prescribed by the engine builder.
Do not exceed 1000 miles (1600 KM) of service with this product. Then switch to the motor oil viscosity and specification suggested by the engine builder.
Can You Mix Fleece Break-In Oil With Other Brands?
For proper break-in, this motor oil should not be mixed with other engine oil brands or types.
Do NOT add aftermarket engine oil additives to Fleece Freedom Series Break-in Oil.
