Withstands Fuel Dilution

An inherent issue with hybrid engines is the potential for fuel dilution of the engine oil. The start and stop nature of hybrid engines can lead to incomplete combustion. This can lead to raw fuel making its way into the engine oil. AMSOIL 100% Synthetic Hybrid Motor Oil uses robust base oils that maintain steadfast viscosity protection in the face of this issue.

Protects Against Corrosion

The start and stop nature of hybrid engines means that they often operate at lower operating temperatures compared to conventional engines. These lower operating temperatures mean that condensation may not boil-off during normal city driving. AMSOIL 100% Synthetic Hybrid Motor Oil contains ingredients that disperse this moisture. This engine oil also contains rust/corrosion inhibitors that protect engine internals from long-term moisture exposure.

Fast Oil Flow

When the internal combustion engine engages, immediate oil flow is critical. AMSOIL’s 100% synthetic formula is designed to flow instantly. The low cold-pour-points allows fast oil flow in cold weather.

Service Life Of AMSOIL 100% Synthetic Hybrid Motor Oil

0W-8

  • The 0W-8 version of this product should be changed at intervals as suggested by the vehicle owner’s manual or as indicated by the oil life monitoring system. Change the oil filter at every oil change.

0W-16 and 0W-20

  • Normal Service – Up to 15,000 miles (24,000 km), or one year, whichever comes first.
  • Severe Service – Follow the OEM recommended service interval, owner’s manual or oil change monitoring system. Severe service is defined as commercial/fleet operation, excessive idling, frequent towing, snow-plowing, hauling or dusty condition driving.
  • Change oil filter at every oil change.

Mixing AMSOIL 100% Synthetic Hybrid Motor Oil With Other Brands

AMSOIL 100% Synthetic Hybrid Motor Oil is compatible with all other brands of conventional and synthetic motor oils. While you can safely mix AMSOIL Synthetic Oil with other brands, this will reduce the drain interval and performance capabilities of AMSOIL oil.

The use of aftermarket motor oil additive products is definitely NOT recommended.
