Independent Synthetic Oil Comparison Test Results

Independent testing was conducted by Auburn University to determine whether AMSOIL Synthetic Oils Improved Fuel Economy under stop and go driving conditions in a diesel delivery truck.

In a scientifically controlled test using the SAE J1376 Fuel Economy Measurement Test for Buses and Trucks, the result was that switching only the engine oil to AMSOIL synthetic oil resulted in a 2.38% fuel economy gain.

Switching the engine, transmission fluid and gear lubes to the AMSOIL synthetic oils resulted in a 3.15% fuel mileage increase over the conventional Chevron Delo oils.
