Difference Between AMSOIL Signature Series, OE Series And Hybrid 0W-16 Oil Products?

AMSOIL now has three synthetic 0W-16 engine oil options. These include the new Signature Series 0W-16, OE Series 0W-16 and the Hybrid 0W-16 Motor Oil. All three products meet the same industry specifications.

So what’s the difference?

The most obvious difference is the suggested service life of each product. This new ultra-premium Signature Series 0W-16 has a maximum service life of 25,000 miles (40,000 km) or one year.

Hybrid 0W-16 has a maximum service life of 15,000 miles (24,000 km) or one year.

The value-priced OE 0W-16 has a suggested service life of the longest interval suggested by the vehicle’s owner’s manual or oil life monitor.

While the Hybrid 0W-16 is marketed specifically for hybrid cars, both the Signature Series and OE Series 0W-16 products can also perform admirably in hybrid engines. All three of these synthetic 0W-16 motor oils will provide industry-leading wear control. The ultra-premium Signature Series product is a step up in all categories.
