AMSOIL Introduces Three New Products
AMSOIL’s research and development department has obviously been hard at work as they have just introduced a new small/engine & powersport fuel treatment, a new engine/transmission flush and a new heavy-duty grease.
AMSOIL Quickshot SE Powersport/Small Engine Fuel Additive
This new gasoline treatment was designed for 2 & 4-stroke motorcycles, snowmobiles, boats, utility engines and lawn/garden applications. The biggest maintenance challenge for most of these applications are fuel related issues. Quickshot SE cleans fuel systems and combustion components while also countering the effects of dirty and inconsistent fuel quality. Today’s gasoline contains a high ethanol content and this can be a challenge for smaller engines. When mixed with moisture, ethanol can separate and create gum and varnish. Worse yet, this water/ethanol mix can make its way into the engine and create a lean situation. This can lead to engine damage. We have heard some snowmobilers speculate that this has caused engine seizure for them. This product keeps moisture in suspension and moves it out of the engine without disrupting operation. Quickshot SE also stabilizes fuel between uses.
AMSOIL Engine and Transmission Flush
This potent new detergent-based formula replaces the old Engine Flush product and is now also recommended for automatic transmissions as well. The removal of sludge and deposits from engine and transmissions promotes better performance, cooler operation and longer service life. When performing an engine or transmission oil change, why not start with a clean slate?
AMSOIL Synthetic Polymeric Truck, Chassis and Equipment Grease
This new grease was designed for medium and heavy-duty applications in trucking, agriculture and industry. The unique formula provides outstanding shock-load resistance and extended service intervals, while keeping out contaminants and moisture. Excellent for heavily loaded chassis grease points, wheel bearings, axle assemblies, universal joints, pivot pins, fifth-wheel hitch plates, steering linkages, spring pins, king pins, ball joints, water pump bearings and other greased heavy-duty components.
